Hello all, the holidays are here and the art team is taking a short break; Kim, Julie and Annette are taking a cruise to the Bahamas. Okay, not really, but we’re on break nonetheless. The kids have done a fantastic job so far, and we will be back with a vengeance on October 24rth. Please continue to collect your old make-up and anything else you think we might need, and check back for pictures, since we’re posting those later today.
Last Friday, the students enthusiastically went treasure hunting through piles and piles of “junk” (the good kind) and glued their findings onto canvases; this resulted in some very original and exciting projects. We can’t wait for the kids to show off all their hard work come December! However, if you’re curious, please feel free to stop by and see it for yourself.
We want to thank Karen, Lise, Leanne, and Na’ava for their great help; it’s appreciated! You all deserve a medal, especially Leanne, who tirelessly scrubbed all the paint off the sponges.
